About the data
Readings arrive every 15 minutes from each station and this site syncs with the network database every 10 minutes. Times are shown in Brisbane time (AEST, UTC+10). Short periods show every reading; longer periods show hourly or daily averages (gusts show the maximum, rainfall shows totals). Download CSV always gives every reading for the selected stations and dates.
Stations are sometimes moved. Each station's location history (on its page and the map) shows which location was in use for each period, and the CSV download includes the location for every reading. Field staff can record a station location.
Sensors: air temperature & humidity probe, SA2-SDI ultrasonic wind sensor, Apogee SP-421 pyranometer, PRP-02 tipping-bucket rain gauge (0.2 mm per tip).
